The Women’s Sports Foundation is seeking talented individuals to join its team and help further its mission to ensure that all girls have access to sports. Much of what the Women’s Sports Foundation accomplishes is a result of volunteers and civic support. If you would like to volunteer please read about the department descriptions and use the form to contact us.
Volunteer Areas (if you are interested in one of these areas, please complete the form at the bottom of this page):
Advocacy: Research policies (both current and proposed) which affect female athletes’ access and opportunities, assist with the execution of National Girls & Women in Sports Day, monitor sports and gender equity topics in the news for inclusion in advocacy communications, prepare advocacy articles for WSF’s website.
Community Impact: Help enhance the Foundation’s toolkit of programs for girl-serving organizations focused on training, education, capacity building and technical assistance. Support athlete-focused programs and initiatives by assisting in the maintenance of athlete records, the coordination of athlete ambassador visits, grant application review and award nominee research.
Communications and Digital Media: Assist with various forms of print and digital content, writing original articles for the website, interviewing champion athletes and other influential members of the women’s sports community, tracking social analytics, and assisting with campaigns.
Development and Events: Assist in all aspects of fundraising, donor cultivation and stewardship through donor relations, special events and programming initiatives.
Operations: Provide organization-wide administrative support in a variety of areas including HR and talent acquisition, finance/accounting, data entry and resource management.
Marketing and Partnerships: Help with the cultivation and maintenance of the Foundation’s corporate partnerships, research and material development, and the execution of marketing/branding strategies and campaigns to build public awareness for the Foundation and its mission.
