WSF conducted a three-year research initiative funded by the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation focused on addressing access, engagement, and retention in sports for girls as well as the lack of women coaches working in the youth sports space. This research focused on the regions of Southeast Michigan and Western New York and has widespread application to communities across the country.
This isn’t just research — it’s a roadmap. Explore, apply, and share the key findings to help create environments where women can coach, girls can thrive, and both can stay in the game.
