National Girls and Women in Sports Day

NGWSD: Expanding Opportunity

Since 1987, the Women’s Sports Foundation has traveled to our nation’s capital to advocate and celebrate women and girls in sports. This year marks the 31st anniversary of National Girls & Women in Sports Day. On February 1 we kicked off the 2017 celebration recognizing the extraordinary achievements of those who have helped to effect change and create opportunities for women and girls in sports.
