Virtual Town Hall Series

Throughout 2022, WSF hosted a series of free Virtual Town Halls open to the public, featuring leaders, advocates and athletes discussing the progress and promise of Title IX. Topics include youth participation, pay equity, leadership, public policy, LGBTQ+, disability, and media.

WSF released a research report that examines the progress made in the first 50 years and looks to the future – what needs to change and what steps need to be taken in order to achieve gender equitable treatment and inclusive excellence in sports.

All American: The Power of Sports Exhibit

September 16, 2022
National Archives will host the exhibit: All American: The Power of Sports beginning on September 16. WSF and Billie Jean King are on the honorary committee. This event runs until January 2024.

National Girls & Women in Sports Day® Briefing

February 1, 2023
The Women’s Sports Foundation will host a briefing for congressional members and staffers on Capitol Hill commemorating the 37th Annual National Girls & Women in Sports Day (NGWSD). This discussion will focus on the wellbeing of athletes and efforts for greater gender equity in sports. Speakers will include student-athletes, elite athletes, and women’s sports advocates.
