With the help of Travel & Training Fund partners Gatorade, we are so proud to have fueled the Olympic dreams of some incredible athletes and past recipients whose performances last week in Sochi included:

  • Elana Meyers (2010, 2013) earned a silver medal with brakewoman Lauryn Williams in the women's two-man bobsled event.

  • Jazmine Fenlator (2013) finished in 11th place in the women's two-man bobsled.

  • Ice dancer Maia Shibutani (2012) placed ninth with partner and brother Alex Shibutani.

  • Curler Allison Pottinger (2010) completed competition with a win over Japan

  • The U.S. women's biathlon team (2013) completed their best-ever Olympic performance with a seventh place in the relay event.

A special congratulations to members of the WSF Leadership Team who helped make the Sochi Games a success for every single Team USA athlete:

  • Billie Jean King, official member of President Obama's Sochi delegation, WSF Founder

  •  Angela RuggieroInternational and U.S. Olympic Committee member, current WSF President

  • Benita Fitzgerald Mosley, Chief of Organizational Excellence for the U.S. Olympic Committee, WSF Board of Trustees member and former Board Chair, past WSF President

And as we celebrated their performances in Sochi, our #TeamWSFinSochi athletes took to social media to celebrate being a part of our team:
