How to Get Involved

Stacey Nuveman: No Dream Too Big

Softball has been cut from the 2012 Olympic ticket. The pressure is on this two-time Olympic champion to lead the team to another golden performance.

Help us to promote the Foundation’s mission to serve female athletes in their quest to play at any level by:

  • becoming a member of the Foundation or making an annual donation to help support the development of girls’ sports programs throughout the country;
  • being an ambassador for women’s sports;
  • serving as a strong role model for girls;
  • spreading the word about the Foundation to your sponsors, friends, family and especially young athletes;
  • hosting a fundraiser to benefit the Foundation;
  • using your image to get attention for the issues;
  • agreeing to participate, when asked, in Foundation fundraising and corporate events;
  • donating auction items;
  • distributing Foundation materials at your camps and clinics throughout the year; and/or
  • adding a link to WomensSportsFoundation.org on your Web site.

To find out more on how you can get involved please check out our Athlete Marketing brochure or contact Stacy Holand at 516.542.4700, ext. 154, or by e-mail at SHoland@WomensSportsFoundation.org.

“I’ve experienced the barriers girls and women often have to confront just for the chance to play sports. We’ve made remarkable progress, but the playing field is still far from level. Your support will help us change that and inspire more girls to enjoy the powerful benefits of sports and exercise.”

— Billie Jean King
