The Hall of Fame, in its 28th year, finally has a place to call home!

Join the Women’s Sports Foundation as we host the 2008 Inaugural Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony for the International Women’s Sports Hall of Fame and the grand opening of the Billie Jean King International Sports Center.

WHEN: June 9, 2008
WHERE: The Sports Museum of America, New York, N.Y.
TIME: 6:00 PM— Cocktail Reception; 7:00 PM— Ceremony

Hassiba Boulmerka—Olympic gold medalist, three-time world champion, sixth on 1,500m all-time world list for fastest time, one of first women to be directly elected to the Athletes’ Commission of the International Olympic Committee
Sue Enquist—Winningest active softball coach with an overall record of 887-175-1 (.835) at the time of her retirement, 11-time NCAA championship winner with the UCLA Bruins, National Fastpitch Coaches Hall of Fame member
Hisako Higuchi—Winner of 72 worldwide titles; only Japanese player, male or female, to capture a major championship title on either the LPGA or PGATours; current Commissioner of the JLPGA
Shannon Miller—Seven-time Olympic medalist, Winner of 58 international and 49 national competition medals, more than half being gold; member of the “Magnificent Seven” squad in the 1996 Olympic Games
