Celebrating the Most Accomplished Women in Sports and the Girls They Inspire

On Tuesday, October 13, Mary Carillo and Bob Costas hosted one of the largest nights in Women's Sports. For 30 years, the Women's Sports Foundation has celebrated those athletes who've opened doors for girls following in their footsteps. Special honorees Annika Sorenstam, legendary golfer and philanthropist; Dick Ebersol, Chairman of NBC Universal Sports & Olympics; and Pat Summitt, head women's basketball coach at the University of Tennessee and NCAA all-time winningest coach, were given Tribute Awards for their undeniable contributions to women's sports.
