NEW YORK – The Women’s Sports Foundation today released the most accurate description of college sports’ participation patterns to date — Who’s Playing College Sports? Money, Race and Gender. The report demonstrates that all available data shows increases in both men’s and women’s sports participation over the last 25 years. However, participation trends differ substantially by sport.

Women's Sports Foundation and Gatorade Award $50,000 to Local High School Girls
NEW YORK, N.Y., (July 15, 2008) – The Women’s Sports Foundation and Gatorade will award $50,000 in funds to 20 girls’ sports teams as part of the annual GoGirlGo! Ambassador Team Awards. The Women’s Sports Foundation’s GoGirlGo! program educates and encourages girls to play fun sports and games as a means to safeguard their health in addition to developing mentorship and teamwork.

Hall of Famers Have A New Place To Call Home
NEW YORK, N.Y., (June 9, 2008) – With the first induction ceremony today, the Billie Jean King International Women’s Sports Center became the official home to the International Women’s Sports Hall of Fame. Billie Jean King, founder of the Women’s Sports Foundation, and Sheila C.
