Sports Museum of America Grand Opening
On May 7, 2008 the Sports Museum of America officially opened to the public.  The opening celebrations included events attended by a myriad of athletes.  Many of these athletes dropped by the Billie Jean King International Women's Sports Center in the Sports Museum of America to check out their exhibit.  To read more about the opening, click here.

The Billies 2008
The Third Annual Billie Awards happened Tuesday, April 15th, at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. The evening played host to Hollywood celebrities and champion athletes, including figure skater, Michelle Kwan and soccer phenomenon, Julie Foudy while honoring positive portrayals of female athletes in the media.
