Association for Applied Sport Psychology
The purpose of AASP is to promote the ethical practice, science and advocacy of sport and exercise psychology. AASP offers certification to qualified professionals who practice sport and exercise psychology. AASP actively promotes the respect for, and the value of, human diversity.
Anti-Defamation League
The purpose of the ADL is to secure justice and fair treatment for everyone and to put an end to unfair discrimination against any sect or body of citizens.
ASTRAEA
The purpose of ASTRAEA is to work for social, racial and economic justice in the United States and internationally. Their groundbreaking and philanthropic advocacy programs help lesbians and allied communities challenge oppression and claim their human rights.
Center for the Study of Sport and Society
The purpose of the CSSS is to increase awareness of sport and its relation to society and to develop programs that identify problems, offer solutions and promote the benefits of sport.
Fearless Campus Tour
The Fearless Campus Tour is a photography series created by Jeff Sheng about "out" high school and collegiate athletes who openly self-identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender.  The Fearless Campus Tour exhibits at various high schools and colleges around the country.
Gay and Lesbian Advocates and Defenders (GLAD)
Founded in 1978, Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders (GLAD) is New England’s leading legal rights organization dedicated to ending discrimination based on sexual orientation, HIV status and gender identity and expression. 
Gay and Lesbian Athletic Foundation
The purpose of the GLAF is to promote acceptance and visibility of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered athletic community through education and training; to foster support networks for athletes; and to advocate inclusion, recognition, understanding and respect among all members of the athletics community.
Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network
The purpose of GLSEN is to assure that each member of every school community is valued and respected regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression.
Gay, Straight Alliance Network
The purpose of GSAN, which is as youth-led organization, is to connect school-based Gay-Straight Alliances (GSAs) to each other and community resources. Through peer support, leadership development and training, GSA Network supports young people in starting, strengthening and sustaining GSAs.
Human Rights Campaign
The purpose of the HRC’s Coming Out Project is to help gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people come out and start living openly. As coming out is a lifelong journey, the HRC Coming Out Project also helps GLBT people, as well as straight-supportive people, to live openly and talk about their support for equality at home, at work and in their communities each and every day.
National Association of Collegiate Women Athletics Administrators
The purpose of NACWAA is to provide programs and support that embrace gender equity and diversity. Furthermore, NACWAA provides opportunities for personal and professional development, networking and mentoring as well as a forum for free-thinking discussion that helps further the advancement of women in every realm of athletics.
National Association for Girls and Women in Sport
The purpose of NAGWS is to develop and deliver equitable and quality sport opportunities for ALL girls and women through relevant research, advocacy, leadership development, educational strategies, and programming in a manner that promotes social justice and change.
National Center for Lesbian Rights
NCLR’s Sports Project aims to level the playing field for LGBT players and coaches. More than 30 years ago, Title IX changed athletics forever by requiring that women and girls have equal access to sporting and athletic opportunities. Today NCLR's advocacy, public education, and high-profile cases have the potential to equalize the treatment of LGBT athletes in this century.
National Collegiate Athletic Association
The purpose of the NCAA is to govern competition in a fair, safe, equitable and sportsmanlike manner, and to integrate intercollegiate athletics into higher education so that the educational experience of the student-athlete is paramount.
Our Group
Our Group is an outreach, support and advocacy organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) high school and college student-athletes and allies. Our Group seeks to serve as a conduit for LGBT student-athletes to network and support one another. It also strives to educate others in the sports community to make sports safe for all, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays
The purpose of PFLAG is to promote the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered persons, their families and friends through: support, to cope with an adverse society; education, to enlighten an ill-informed public; and advocacy, to end discrimination and to secure equal civil rights.
Transgender Law Center
The purpose of TLC, a civil rights organization advocating for transgender communities, is to connect transgender people and their families to technically sound and culturally competent legal services, increase acceptance and enforcement of laws and policies, and work to change laws and systems that fail to incorporate the needs and experiences of transgender people.
