Bodybuilding
Bodybuilding, literally a total body sport, focuses strictly on the competitor's physique. Through intense and vigorous training, bodybuilders pump the weights and alter their eating patterns to sound, dietary practices in an effort to redefine the shape of their body. In three rounds, competitors are judged on three physical aspects: symmetry, muscularity and presentation. Symmetry refers to the structural harmony of the body. Judges focus on the aesthetically proportional, developed physique. There are three rounds total, each of equal value, where the competitors present themselves on stage.
