Aeronautics and aviation encompasses these wild and adventurous activities, which include soaring, aerobatics, surfing and skiing through the air. Flying takes on a few different meanings in this sport. It can involve transporting passengers, but it can also be purely recreational. Competitive aerobatics involves a tremendous amount of physical and mental agility, where split second timing and control is a must.
