Aerobics
When people hear the word aerobics, they often conjure up images in their heads of a group of suburban women in the 80s, sweatin' it out in leg warmers and leotards to Olivia Newton John, singing physical, physical, I wanna get physical. Well that's old school aerobics. Nowadays you'll find men and women of all ages bouncin' to the beat of perky, microphone-headgear-wearing instructors! Aerobics defined is a type of physical exercise designed to increase heart rate and oxygen intake. It's a type of exercise that, through vigorous rhythmic exercises performed or choreographed to music, conditions your heart and lungs by increasing the oxygen available to your body. Aerobics has variety! If you want low impact, try water aerobics. But if you're into a grueling sweat fest, try step aerobics or kickboxing!
