Kellie Suttle/ Track/Field

Kellie Suttle was the 1998 U.S. outdoor champion in the pole vault. She was named to the 2000 U.S. Olympic team, after placing second at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials. She won the 2000 Grand Prix Invitational with a pole vault of 14ft. 6.25in. She placed fourth at the 2000 U.S. Indoor Championships.

In 1999, Suttle placed second at the U.S. Outdoor Championships and the Pan American Games. In 1998, she won the U.S. Outdoor Championships with a vault of 14ft. Suttle was ranked No. 3 in the United States by Track & Field News in 1999. She has been ranked in the top five in the United States since 1997. (10/00)
