Carolyn Peck joined the WNBA as head coach and general manager of the Orlando Miracle in 1999. As the first head coach of the expansion Miracle, Peck led her team to the WNBA playoffs.
Prior to that, Peck guided the Purdue Boilermakers to the 1999 NCAA Women's Basketball Championships as head coach. In 1999, Peck was named National Coach of the Year by the Associated Press, as well as by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association. In her two years as head coach at Purdue, Peck compiled a 57-11 record including a 9-1 NCAA Tournament record. (2/00)
