Recently named to the first team All 20th Century Women's Lacrosse Team by Lacrosse Magazine. She is the youngest member of the All-Century Squad. A member of the 1997 U.S. World Cup Team, she received the most valuable player award for the tournament.
She traveled to Great Britain with the 1996 U.S. Touring Team as well as competing in 1995 with the U.S. Team against Wales. She was the youngest and sole college student member of the 1993 U.S. World Cup Team. The U.S. Team won a gold medal in 1993 and 1997. An alternate to the 1992 U.S. Touring Team to Australia, she has been a member of the USA Women's Lacrosse Team since 1991.
A three-time All-American (1992, 1993, 1994) at the University of Virginia, Greer led her team to the NCAA Championships in 1991 and 1993. The 1994 NCAA Division I Defensive Player of the Year, she is the only lacrosse player to have her jersey retired. The ceremony marked the fifth time a female student/athlete had her jersey retired at the University of Virginia. Greer was also inducted into her high school's Hall of Fame.
Her father, Hal Greer was inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame for his 15 years playing with the Philadelphia 76ers and was selected as one of the 50 Greatest NBA Players of All-Time. She is currently the vice president of GranHCo Enterprises and serves as assistant to Grant Hill of the Detroit Pistons. (4/00)
