Devers finished first in the 100m hurdles at the 2003 World Athletics Final in September. Her time was 12.45, tying the world's best time that year. During the 2004 indoor season, Devers became the first American athlete in history to win both the 60m and 60m hurdles at a USA Indoor Track & Field Championships. She was the 60m champion, with the world's second fastest time of the year (7.08), and runner-up in the 60m hurdles at the World Indoors. At the Nike Prefontaine Classic in June, she earned second place in the 100m. Devers also won the 60m hurdles at the adidas Boston Indoor Games, Verizon Millrose Games and Tyson Foods Invitational. She also won the 60m at Tyson. In July, Devers earned a first-place finish and became a 5-time Olympian in the 100m hurdles at the Olympic Trials and will be competing in that event in Athens. Devers will also be competing in the 100m in Athens.
