GoGirlGo! Atlanta receives Catalyst Award from Kennesaw State




GoGirlGo! Atlanta has been chosen as one of the first recipients of Kennesaw State University's WellStar College of Health & Human Services Global Center for Social Change through Women's Leadership and Sport Catalyst Award. The Catalyst Award is sponsored by the LAMB Foundation ( Love , Accept , Motivate, Bless) and presented to individuals or groups around the world who have demostrated their ability to created and sustain innovative initiatives in communities, serving as catalyst for postive social change through sport.

GoGirlGo! Atlanta was selected for is dedication and hard work toward the development of opportunities for and funding of girls' sports and physical activity programs in Metro Atlanta that combine reduce risky behaviors that threaten the health and social advancement of girls ages 8-18. GoGirlGo! Atlanat will be presented the award at a reception on October 27, 2006 to celebrate the grand opening of the Global Center for Social Change through Women's Leadership and Sport.
